ALDI has a clever way to save money, keep costs low, and keep lots clear of carts. You simply insert a quarter to begin your shopping adventure. You’ll be rewarded with low-low prices + your investment is returned at the end of your trip. Often, a kind “Quarter Fairy” leaves a “Free” cart for the next lucky shopper. I have often gifted my cart to a new ALDI Friend in the parking lot. ALDI shoppers as whole are a pretty friendly bunch!
plan to use your own bags
I have found when shopping at a new store it is fun & helpful to go on an “Exploratory” trip. Personally, I like to go during an off peak hour with a small non urgent list. ALDI may be a small store but, they have a wide assortment of products to suite any diet. You can easily feed a large family affordably with their high quality delicious foods.
no need to clip coupons
ALDI does not accept manufacturers coupons. They make up for this with everyday low prices. ALDI does have very generous “Grand opening” coupons they ill give you in store if you are lucky enough to have a new ALDI open in your neighborhood.
Bare bones equals lower costs
ALDI ingeniously uses product shipping boxes as “display” cases. This makes stocking shelves quick & easy to save you money.

Despite being a small shop ALDI carries a large selection of foods for every member of your family. They have specialty items that cater to a variety of diets. They have gluten free, organics, Asian, Indian, Mexican & Italian foods.ALDI sells Proprietary brands
Roughly 90% of the items ALDI sells are proprietary brands that you can only find at ALDI. Cutting out the middle man helps keep the focus on providing customers great prices. They also have a “Specially Selected” gourmet brand of award winning upscale products at bargain basement prices. ALDI has a small section of “ALDI finds” which features a revolving selection of delightful items. Super deals on toys, cookware, pet care etc. What will you find?be prepared to bag your haul
At ALDI a fast moving efficient clerk will ring up your groceries at an amazing & accurate pace. As they do they place your items into a new cart. This keeps things moving quickly as they are ringing up your items faster than you can unload your cart. ALDI provides a large area for you to bag up your goodies. Aldi has a generous return policyALDI is so confident in their products that they offer what’s called a Twice As Nice Guarantee. If you don’t like something, bring it back and they’ll replace it and refund the purchase price.
